DESCRIPTION:Virtuoso pianist Mao Fujita performs Wagner’s “In das Album der Fürstin Metternich\,” WWV 94\, Liszt’s transcription Isoldes Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde\, as well as other works by Beethoven\, Berg\, Mendelssohn\, and Brahms – at Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall on Wednesday\, March 4. \nCome say Hi to fellow WSNY members from near and far. It’s a great chance to mingle with fellow opera enthusiasts\, share your thoughts on the performance\, and connect with like-minded people who appreciate great music and conversation. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the Society\, we’d love to see you there and hear your insights. \nYou’ll find us in the Rose Museum outside the Rohatyn Room on the first tier – and can recognize our loyal members by their Wagner silhouette lapel pins. The house opens 45 minutes before the performance – come say Hi before you take your seat.
