Singers Awards

The Wagner Society of New York is dedicated to supporting promising young Wagnerian singers. Awards are funded by generous Society members who established the Robert Lauch Memorial Endowed Fund and the Ursula Springer Endowed Fund. Additional grants are occasionally offered, supported by member contributions.

2024 SINGER PROGRAMS UPDATE

The Wagner Society of New York is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2024 Singers Competition, the purpose of which is to identify and support emerging dramatic voices with Wagnerian potential. The Final Round will take place in-person on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The prizes will be awarded as the Robert Lauch Memorial prize ($6000), and the Ursula Springer prize ($3000), along with several other prizes in lesser amounts to be given at the judges’ discretion.
