Ticket Requests
The Wagner Society of New York will request tickets for the following performances:
Wednesday, August 18, 2027: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg
Thursday, August 19, 2027: Parsifal
Friday, August 20, 2027: Lohengrin
Saturday, August 21, 2027: Tannhäuser
Tickets have, in previous years, been allocated in the A1-A2 seating categories; no assurances can be given about which tickets will be allocated for 2027. Prices and location may be viewed in the downloadable PDF online here.
Application Info
Application for ticket requests opens on Saturday, 3 October at 12:00 p.m. EST. Application requires the payment of a $100 application fee per person per request (i.e. if two tickets for one or more performances are requested, the application fee is $200), payable online via credit card. A member may request up to two tickets per performance. Once members successfully apply and pay the $100 fee(s), they will receive an automated email indicating that the request has been received. Your application fee guarantees that a request will be made on your behalf but does not guarantee tickets, as this will depend upon what is allocated to WSNY. Ticket fulfillment will give priority to members who have not received tickets recently, and then will be made in order of receipt of request and availability of inventory. Members who request tickets and receive an allocation, but then fail to complete their purchase, in addition to forfeiting their application fee, may receive de-prioritized ticketing allocation for future Bayreuth or other special events. The application fee will be credited against your balance due for any tickets allocated to you. In case the majority of tickets requested by you are not allocated to you (e.g. if you request a ticket to four performances and receive an allocation to only two performances) and you choose not to purchase any of the allocated tickets, your application fee will be refunded in due course.
Allocation & Payment
Allocations are expected to begin in Winter 2026-27. Once WSNY’s ticket contingent has been received, if your request is able to be fulfilled, you will be invoiced and you will have 7 days to make the balance payment online via credit card. Failure to pay will result in your ticket(s) no longer being allocated to you. If a ticket allocation is made for a majority of the tickets requested by you, the application fee will not be refunded, regardless of whether tickets are paid for. Please note that WSNY will invoice the tickets at the EUR-USD exchange rate to which it is subject at the time of purchase on your behalf, and will add a 15% contribution to WSNY to the total ticket price. This contribution fee helps to support the work of WSNY. All sales are final.
