Milan Ring

March 2026

The Wagner Society of New York secured a limited block of premium tickets for Teatro alla Scala’s highly anticipated new production of Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen in March 2026, giving members access before tickets were released to the general public. Conducted by Alexander Soddy and directed by Sir David McVicar, the production featured an outstanding cast including Michael Volle, Camilla Nylund, and Klaus Florian Vogt. November 2026

The Wagner Society of New York secured a block of premium tickets for the first complete Der Ring des Nibelungen cycle of the Paris Opera’s new 2026 production at the Opéra Bastille, giving members exclusive access to one of Europe’s most anticipated Wagner events. Last Call Play

March 2025

The Wagner Society of New York obtained a block of prime seats at a special discount for members to attend the Off-Broadway production of Last Call, Peter Danish’s new play inspired by the final meeting between legendary conductors Leonard Bernstein and Herbert von Karajan. Following the performance, members enjoyed an exclusive private talkback with the playwright and creative team, offering unique insights into the work’s creation and historical inspiration. Ring Without Words

January 2025

Liederabend at Haus Wahnfried

August 2024

The Wagner Society of New York reserved a limited block of tickets for members to attend an intimate Liederabend in the historic salon of Haus Wahnfried, Richard Wagner’s former home in Bayreuth. The recital featured works by Wagner, Richard Strauss, and Arnold Schönberg, performed by soprano Maria Hilmes, tenor Stefan Rügamer, and pianist Günther Albers, and was followed by an informal gathering for members.
