Hear the future of Wagnerian singing: Our annual Singers Competition Finals will take place on Tuesday, May 20 and this year, for the first time, our members are invited to attend the final auditions, where they can be introduced to some of the most promising young Wagner voices from around the world. The Wagner Society of New York is proud to have supported young artists through grants and awards for over 30 years. Awards are funded by generous Society members who established the Robert Lauch Memorial Endowed Fund and the Ursula Springer Endowed Fund, and by those who continue to honor their legacy with their contributions. This year, Finalists will be presenting excerpts from Wagner and other works of similar dramatic vocal character. Our 2025 special guest judge will be renowned Wagnerian soprano Jane Eaglen, alongside Cori Ellison, Tyson Deaton, Ken Benson, Roger Malouf, and Deborah Surdi.
