Join us for a rare screening of Mahler (1974), Ken Russell’s audacious and visually stunning portrait of composer Gustav Mahler. Nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes, Mahler is widely regarded as one of Russell’s most beautiful and imaginative films. Set during the composer’s final days in 1911, the film follows Mahler and his wife Alma on a train journey, during which the story of his life, loves, and inner turmoil unfolds through a dreamlike series of flashbacks.
