Band in Berlin

Society group attendance at a play starring The Hudson Shad, recreating the style of the German Comedian Harmonists, a sextet widely popular in the early 1920s-30s. Disbanded by Hitler, the group was re-formed outside Germany with three new members, one of whom, Fritz Kramer, pianist and arranger, was the Society’s first speaker (Sept. 1977) and an honorary member.
