The Wagner Society of New York (WSNY) has launched a new online Ticket Exchange, providing its members with a dedicated platform to buy, sell, or give away tickets to performances—many of which are sold-out or otherwise difficult to obtain.

The exchange is open exclusively to WSNY members and is designed to simplify the process of sharing tickets to high-demand events. Whether it’s a sold-out Meistersinger in Bayreuth, a spare seat for the Ring Cycle in Berlin this fall, or an extra ticket for a last-minute performance at the Metropolitan Opera, members now have a centralized location to connect with one another.

The platform functions as a classified listing board, allowing users to post tickets they can’t use or search for ones they need. This is particularly useful during busy festival seasons or for international performances, where ticket availability is often limited and plans can change quickly.

The Ticket Exchange is part of WSNY’s broader effort to enhance the member experience and support access to live performances. With Wagner productions in high demand and frequently sold out, the exchange helps ensure that fewer tickets go unused while giving members a chance to attend performances that might otherwise be out of reach.

Members can access the Ticket Exchange online here. Important guidelines and disclosures are provided at the bottom of the exchange page, and all users are encouraged to review them before participating.
