In 2013, WSNY bestowed the prestigious Anton Seidl award to the entire Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, in recognition of their excellence in the performance of Wagner's music. Bayreuth Festival Time, now also on DG Premium – an embarrassment of (virtual) riches.
