Glyndebourne Tristan und Isolde
Glyndebourne America, the 501(c)(3) U.S. Public Charity providing support to Glyndebourne, offers WSNY Members the opportunity to attend the August 25, 2024 performance of Tristan und Isolde, including tickets (prime seating in the stalls), cocktails, and an optional interval dinner. This revival of Nikolaus Lehnhoff’s production will be conducted by Robin Ticciati and star Miina-Liisa Värelä and Stuart Skelton. Joseph Parrish in Recital
Bass-Baritone Joseph Parrish, the Wagner Society of New York 2023 Bayreuth Stipendiat, will present a recital on February 25 at St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church on the Upper West Side as part of the Carnegie Hall Citywide series. Accompanied by pianist Shawn Chang, he will perform works by Liszt, Schubert, Mahler, Burleigh, and more. Free admission. More info here.
